Here is a pic from Saturday's race. I was honored to carry the flag in memory of Dennis. The Echo helmet was placed on the first jump in honor of Dennis. I believe there is some sort of memorial planned at the state race in Richmond on August 13. There has also been talk of a scholarship fund for Dennis' daughter.

Hi everyone,
This is Dennis' sister, Diana. I cannot thank you enough for posting all of these kind and heart-warming messages. He truly loved the sport, but most of all, he loved the community -- the extended family. You were all so good to him, and my parents and I thank you for that.

If you'd like to send a note to my parents with some of your fond recollections, they would love to hear them. Their info is:

Susan & Danny Dayrit

Thank you again. To see some of Dennis' BMX pics in the last year, take a look at http://www.terrapintravel.com

Take care and keep on riding ~
Diana Dayrit ("Dee")
